Pony Camps are being held on 14th, 15th, 16th & 17th February 2012 Pony Camps are the ideal way to introduce children to horses and ponies and provide further training for the experienced child rider. Children learn through fun and hands on experience under supervision.
Full day camps are open to children 7 years and over. Younger children are welcome to join half day camps. Camp Days start at 10am and finish at 4pm.
Half days run from 10am – 12.30pm.

Singles' Surf Weekend, February 17th/18th Back by popular demand is the Singles Surf Weekend on 17/18th February in conjunction with Bundoran Surf Co and Donegal Bay Holiday Homes. Surfing is a great way to meet new people and have a party and the last Singles' Surf Weekend resulted in 2 weddings and a baby…. The weekend will consist of 2 surf lessons/ meal entertainment in local bar and restaurant and free entry to the local night club with 2 nights accommodation for €89. It’s all a bit of craic and who needs valentine’s day anyway. There is no real heavy match making just a good weekend were everyone gets to meet new people in an easy going environment. We will have a surf session on the Saturday were we will all hit the beach. We will offer coaching and can tailor the session to the individual levels from beginner lessons to intermediate. The session will be about having a bit of craic but we will have instructors on hand so you can pick up a few surf tips. On the Saturday evening we will all head for a meal at a local restaurant where we will have a meal deal with some entertainment before heading to the Bridge bar/local night club. We have packages in the surf lodge for small groups/individuals or if you have a larger group of 6 + we have holiday homes available. CARA Bundoran 10 Mile Challenge 2012

The inaugural Cara Bundoran Run took place on the 5th of March 2011 and was a huge success with well over 500 runners, joggers and walkers making the trip last year to the beautiful seaside town of Bundoran to take the challenge. This year’s 10 Mile Challenge will be an even bigger and better success. The Cara Bundoran 10 Mile Challenge will take place on Saturday 10th March 2012. The Walkers will commence the challenge at 10am with the Runners starting an hour later.

Looks like Sea Sessions is back in Bundoran 2012. Was a great party last year. Announcement from promoters “Sea Sessions can confirm it will hit the beach in Bundoran again for 2012 on friday 29th, saturday 30th June and sunday 1st July. We feel we have grown and improved the festival over the years and we aim to make 2012 even better with lots of new features. We can also announce that we will improve the festival however the price will remain at €79.95 for 3 days” With 2012 we will have a Euro 2012 and Beach Olympic theme for our beach sports. Our beach soccer comp will have its own European Championship with some great prizes on offer. The Beach Olympics will see various olympics sports played out on the beach in front of the festival site. Sea sesssions will have its a pre event battle of the bands for bands looking to play the festival in a series of gigs in the Work Mens Club in early 2012. We will again have a surf comp at Sea sessions but will this year have a beach party/surf expressionwarm up session at another Irish coastal town. We have lots of new stuff which we cant announce just yet but stay tuned for info. We have an early bird special on 2012 tickets with free camping passes available with a 3 day pass for a limited time. The festival has evolved from us listening to what festival goers want. The Lobsters & Lettuce Festival Bundoran celebrates the Atlantic Ocean and all its bounty. Artisan and local producers and chefs from our restaurants, hotels and bars will come together to demonstrate the good food available in this area. This relationship with the Atlantic will be explored not only through food but through ourselves and how we use the sea for recreation – surfing, angling, swimming, etc – and its gifts to us as a natural environment – the flora, fauna and birdlife of the coast. Celebrity Chefs, Artisan producers, local groups and experts will all join in the fun with demonstrations, cook-offs, treasure hunts and loads more.
